Man, what a day. Glad for this one to be over. Even though it’s President’s Day, I still had to work. We only get off the days that Fed Ex and UPS take off, but since they were still operating today, so were we. It was pretty busy @ work, orders just kept coming non-stop. I worked straight through both my morning and afternoon breaks, and partially kept working while eating lunch. @ least the weather wasn’t so bad. The forecast said it was going to rain today through Wednesday, but it stayed sunny, if slightly chilly, today. I hope that trend continues, as I hate having to drive in the rain. If it wants to rain, let it wait until the weekend, when I can stay indoors.

Anyway, I finished watching tonight’s episode of DALLAS, which is turning into a bit of a snooze-fest, I’m sorry to say. I’m still sad @ the fact that there’s now only one more episode featuring Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing that was filmed before he died. That last episode is going to be tough for me, truly the end of an era.

Speaking of deaths, I read that Lakers owner Jerry Buss died today of Cancer. That is such an awful disease, there’s so many different forms, that could strike any of us @ any time. It seems like the longer you live, the higher the odds that you develop some form of cancer. I wish they could cure that damn disease. Also, yesterday, country star Mindy McCready killed herself. That is so darn sad when a physically healthy person commits suicide. Even with a seemingly nice life, you just never know what kind of emotional or mental pain someone is in.

Well, got a little bit of cleaning to do, then a couple of reviews to write of some comics I’ve been promising the creators that I’d review here, and then bedtime. Looks like it’s going to be another busy day tomorrow, so I need some rest.
