American singer Beyonce proved her love for husband Jay-Z by buying him the world’s fastest road car for $2 million, The Sun reported Wednesday.
The 29-year-old pop star treated her rapper husband to a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his 41st birthday.
She had to wait a year after ordering the car, which can do 255 miles per hour and goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.
I’m sorry, but I just find this to be absurd. It’s a frakkin’ car. I don’t care if it flies, no car is worth that much. And I’m a fan of both Jay Z and Beyonce, but there’s no justification for this. Even if you can afford it, it’s still a waste of money. I don’t wanna go off on a “they could have used that money to feed homeless people or helped some other charity” rant or anything, it’s her money and she can spend it how she chooses, but even if I was a mega-billionaire, I’d never spend $2 million on one car.
