I’ve got to get up early tomorrow to take my car to the shop (the breaks have been making a loud rumbling sound when I press on them, I’m pretty sure that’s not a good thing) and then take a cab from there to work. So I’ve got to make this really short. I’ve already taken my sleeping pills and they’re starting to kick in.
Joss’ prepares to meet Scott’s (Justin Hartley) extended family and gets all freaked out after Harry (Brett Tucker) points out of all of her quirks. But the meeting ends up going well, and Scott is so pleased that he gives Joss an engagement ring (slipped into a pair of shoes, just to remind us all that he has a major league foot fetish). I predict that there will be a wedding this season, but it’s not going to be Joss and Scott.
Anna (Catherine Haena Kim) has some sort or mental breakdown/panic attack. Clearly the girl is effed up. Karen has the perfect solution to help her get better: she invites Anna to move in with her. SAY WHAT NOW?!? Yeah, this ain’t gonna end well. Jacob (Matthew Del Negro) seems surprisingly okay with this, though…
April finds out that Paul has been working as a computer hacker for a Cuban drug lord and now he’s ditched his new baby mama and son and is on the run again. The FBI is looking for him, to use as a witness against the drug lord, and that’s why they’re following April waiting for Paul to contact her again so they can find him. And the big surprise at the end is who does April find when she goes to the FBI office? DANIEL!?!?!? So THAT’S his secret! Well, that’s an interesting turn of events.
And we finally find out what Toni’s (Rebeka Montoya) scheme is. She never had another job offer, it was all a scam to seduce Dom (Jason Winston George) and now she’s accusing him of sexual harassment to the other partners at the law firm. D’OH! Brother you done goofed. And this is just when Savi had broken through her emotional issues and was ready to commit to him fully. Well, so much for that.
Dang, they can’t really break up Savi and Dom just like that, can they? I’m still #TeamDom all day. Montoya was particulary good this episode, if this series gets a 3rd season I hope she sticks around. Every soap opera needs an evil vixen. Great episode this week.
